What is tangail ?

Tangail sarees are the special type of a saree which is made effortfully by the weavers in Tangail . It was also known as the “Begum Bahar” .

How it is made ?

IT is a unique type of a weaving done by hand in Tangail areas of Bangladesh . An extream fine yarn is use for tangail sarees which makes it so soft and comfortable for the users. It weaving style , colour designs and length of a tangail saree is different from all other sarees . A special type of yarn and thread is used by the weavers. It is not a machine made so the every portion of tangail saree is made by hands. One of the uncommon part of this saree is the “Par”. Jori and silk yarn is used for the pars . It is made with special care with silky and shiny threads for the ladies to look smart and classy in the attire .
